IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Saturn’s influence on your birthday means you won’t always be on the same wavelength as the people around you. That won’t matter if you have the courage to strike out on your own in new directions. Act as if you cannot fail – and you won’t.
IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
It’s not nice having your shortcomings pointed out to you but if a friend does that this week you would be wise to listen and learn. You can at times be blind to your own faults and failings and should probably thank them for being honest with you.
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
Do what is expected of you on the work front and don’t look for praise if it goes right or sympathy if it goes wrong. You have never been the sort to care what other people think of your efforts, so why would you want to start now?
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
You may be inclined to do a favour for a co-worker but first you must find out if it will be a one-time event or if it could lead to you being pulled in to doing even more for them in the future. “No” may be your best response.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
If someone you don’t always get along with is on their best behaviour this week you will, of course, be suspicious. And rightfully so, as the planets warn they are up to something and, whatever it might be, it’s unlikely to be for your benefit.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
The sun, your ruler, is at odds with Saturn, so even if you are feeling pumped up and ready to get on with things, there will be some kind of obstacle or opposition to deal with first. If you move too fast, you may overlook something important.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
Slow down and take life at a more leisurely pace during the early part of the week. No one is timing you, so you don’t have to act as if you are competing against the clock. Sometimes you push yourself way too hard.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
You may be happy to try something new and exciting but friends and loved ones will be less than enthused, so expect some pushback to your plans. If you are smart you will ignore them and get together with people who know how to have fun.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
A problem you have been struggling with for quite some time will resolve itself without any direct input from you. That might be annoying as you put so much effort into it but at least now you can leave it behind and move on to something else.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
Some people have had a lot to say for themselves in recent days and much of it seems to have been about you. Not that you care, of course, but it might be smart to find out what exactly they’ve been discussing behind your back.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
Don’t feel bad if you benefit from a colleague’s fall from grace. It isn’t your fault they made a serious career mistake and if you don’t take advantage of the changed situation you can be sure someone else will. Move fast and move up.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
If a friend or family member demands full freedom of action today don’t try to deny them. You would not agree to them holding you back from something you want to do, so it’s only fair you should let them go off and do their own thing.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
So many things are changing in your world and the forces at work are too powerful to oppose. The best you can hope for over the next few days is that some of those changes will work in your favour. A positive attitude is a must.
